Hi, I'm Harshit!

Explore My Journey into the Field of STEM and Beyond

About Me

I'm a motivated and curious student entering the Computer Engineering program at the University of Toronto, driven by a deep interest in technology, problem-solving, and innovation. Throughout high school, I’ve built a strong technical foundation through the I-STEM program at Aldershot High School, where I engaged in coursework and hands-on projects across science, engineering, and computing. My experiences extend beyond the classroom. I’ve worked as a Kumon assistant for over four years, developing key leadership and communication skills while guiding students in math and reading. I also gained teaching experience through McMaster’s Venture Academy, where I helped run STEM camps focused on coding, robotics, and design thinking. On the technical side, I’ve explored programming languages like Python, C++, Swift, PHP, HTML/CSS, and have been experimenting with AI tools and hardware projects. My engineering background includes prototyping, electronics, and team-based innovation challenges. I’ve also been active in environmental initiatives through Grades of Green, working on campaigns that promote sustainable practices. At UofT, I look forward to diving deeper into the intersection of software and hardware, contributing to meaningful tech solutions, and collaborating with others who are just as excited about building the future.
